3rd generation Prius

The 3rd generation Prius recently made an appearance in Santa Monica, California, weeks before its official release. Cameras were there as Cotty, a 2005 Prius owner, became one of the first members of the general public to get behind the wheel of the new Prius.

Cotty took a test-drive through his neighborhood and got a walk-through with Prius product expert Doug Coleman. Doug introduced him to all the new features of the latest Prius and sat back as Cotty tried them out on his own.

After his test-drive, Cotty invited his friends and neighbors to get in and get a feel for what it's like to be in the driver's seat of America's favorite hybrid.
 
The 3rd generation Prius is due out in May, and dealers are expecting the vehicle to be in high demand.
